Writing Entry Level 3

Motivational, functional writing tasks set in workplace contexts. All the Functional English tasks in this resource are set in three workplaces – a hotel, a supermarket and a factory. This helps make the activities both real and relevant to students. Knowledge about each workplace builds cumulatively as students progress through the levels.

Tasks at Entry Level 3 include expressing an opinion, planning and drafting text, using tense correctly, word building, writing in chronological order and writing using headings. A student checklist, comprehensive teaching notes and answers are included as well as overhead transparency templates for group work.
