Writing Level 2

Motivational, functional writing tasks set in workplace contexts. All the Functional English tasks in this resource are set in three workplaces – a hotel, a supermarket and a factory. This helps make the activities both real and relevant to students. Knowledge about each workplace builds cumulatively as students progress through the levels.

Tasks at Level 2 include completing complex forms, understanding complex sentences, using the full range of punctuation, writing brochures, notices, planning documents and emails. A student checklist, comprehensive teaching notes and answers are included as well as overhead transparency templates for group work.
