Speaking and listening Entry Level 2

Motivational, functional speaking and listening tasks set in workplace contexts. All the Functional English tasks in this resource are set in three workplaces – a hotel, a supermarket and a factory. This helps make the activities both real and relevant to students.

The book comes with a multimedia CDROM – an ideal platform for teaching and rehearsing speaking and listening skills. The activities in the book include structured role-play activities for paired and group work as well as scripts of the tasks on the CD.

Tasks at Entry Level 2 include asking and answering questions, giving and receiving instructions, listening for detail and for gist, sequencing instructions and understanding sequence markers. A student checklist, comprehensive teaching notes and answers are included as well as overhead transparency templates for group work.
