ICT Level 2

Motivational, functional IT tasks set in workplace contexts. All the Functional ICT tasks in this resource are set in three workplaces – a hotel, a supermarket and a factory. This helps make the activities both real and relevant to students. Knowledge about each workplace and confidence with IT builds cumulatively as students progress through the levels.

Tasks at Level 2 include word processing in MS Word – arranging text in columns, inserting Clip Art, using SpellCheck and Thesaurus, using templates; email – writing emails and attaching documents; Internet – downloading files. A student checklist, comprehensive teaching notes and answers are included as well as overhead transparency templates for group work.
